Trimester 1 Test 1
Hello 2nd grade families! We have a lot of exciting things coming up in Spanish class. I love the fall of the school year! For the next two weeks we will begin to study el Día de los Muertos, or the Day of the Dead. We will be making calavera masks to represent the way that people in mexico paint their faces like skulls to celebrate the Holiday. More importantly however, we will be having our first test next week. 2M will have their test on Monday, 10/22. 2P will have theirs on Tuesday, 10/23. 2H will have their test on Wednesday, 10/31. There is a formal letter to the parents that offers helpful study tips and links to various study tools, as well as a copy of the study guide in case their copy does not make it home. Trimester 2 Test 1
Happy New Year! I hope everyone had a relaxing and fun Winter break. I am excited to be back with the kiddos and in a routine again! It is time for our second Spanish test of the year. The format will be the same as the first test: Fill in the blank with a word bank provided, or matching. I will read all the Spanish vocabulary to the class and will be able to provide oral testing for those students who would prefer that option. Due to the MLK holiday, 2M will have their test on Monday 1/28. 2P will have their test on Tuesday, 1/22. 2H will have their test on Wednesday, 1/23.
